What a Rush!

Whew! That is what I am summing college up to. I just THOUGHT that I would have more time on my hands. Um... no, that was just dream that I had one day.

A little more than a month has flown by since I started classes, and I literally have not stopped since. Homework, working out, more studying, somewhere eating and sleeping has a small role. Of course, I am exaggerating but only a tad. I do have a small amount of time during the week to hang out with friends, read a couple chapters of a book just for fun, and fit in my weekly message.

I am only taking 16 hours this semester, so my schedule is pretty easy. My earliest class is 9 a.m. therefore, I get to sleep a little later. Speaking of my classes, being a freshman means that you have to take the classes that have nothing to do with your major. So far, my absolute favorite class is Marriage and Family. I think I like it because of the teacher. She is the funniest person that I have ever encountered, and yes, I do learn a lot in that class. The other classes I am taking consist of: General Psychology (also a fun class), American Government (UGH), Business Information Systems (boring), Animal Biology (again, UGH), Freshman Business Plan (thumbs up),and a "just for fun class" called How to Be a Millionaire which is also not all that great.

My days usually end around 1 or 1:30, so I am not complaining! However, homework is a whole other world. ALL homework is done online. Papers, labs, quizzes, sometimes tests, lectures, powerpoints, you name it. Way to go "green," Mississippi State, and make our lives complicated.

Now, do not think that my college life is dull. Every Monday thru Thursday, I attend Ab class at the Sanderson Center. If I have time after the class, I run or work out. Freshman fifteen? What?
On weekends, I can usually be found just relaxing because I am SO wornn out from the week.

I had my first football game as a student Saturday when we wooped up on Jackson State!! It was amazing, and I was pretty deaf an hoarse after :).

I have yet to go home since I moved here. The closest I have been is Clinton, last weekend, to my grandparents. I cannot wait to have a chance to go back!

Until next time :
